The Cairo Parents Group has met on 2 March, 2010 at the Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement Office to discuss the group’s future plans.

During the meeting progress of the group’s activities and the role of women in the Movement’s activities and programs have been discussed. Plans for the group’s activities during 2010 have been set.

It was also announced that the Parents’ Group has subscribed in Telecentres.org. It is which is a worldwide network of people and organizations committed to increasing the social and economic impact of tens of thousands of grassroots telecentres by making telecentres stronger and better at what they do. The members of the group were invited and encouraged to join.
