Parents Group Holds an Awareness Session on the occasion of Safer Internet Day, 9 February 2010
On the occasion of Safer Internet Day 2010, the Parents internet Safety focus Group of the Cyber Peace Initiative is holding an awareness session on the 8th of February about safety and privacy online at the Rotary Kasr El Nile Club. The parents group is focussing its discussion on different aspects of privacy, bringing the attendees' attention to a critical and important dimension of internet safety.
The session is a follow up on the work of the Parents’ Internet Safety Group with social aggregations in Egypt. Last year, the Parents’ Group paid a number of visits to Rotary clubs and was received with great interest. This year, the Group will focus its discussion on privacy issues, bringing the attendees' attention to a critical and important dimension of internet safety. The session will be conducted by Mrs Nagwa Shoeb, Director of the Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement and Hala Tadros, coordinator of the Parents Group.
